Loved the look and feel of the hotel, staff are superb, especially Chris & Hayley, very helpful and friendly. It is the only hotel near the Pier with wheelchair access ramp.
Our room (306) was lovely, if a bit small. Beds lovely and comfortable, new decor is on trend. Loved the breakfast, good choices and beautiful presentation in lovely room. Pity they don't do dinner menu.
Didn't like the dirty window sills in our room or the ragged, 6 inch gap under the wet room door ( why could not be finished off with a nice neat trim to match the door ? ) Could not understand why the room door was standard and the wet room door was much wider ( we did not try to get the wheelchair into the room but there would be no room to turn around once in there, room too small to store one). Would like parking to be sorted for Disabled Blue Badge holders nearer to the hotel entrance, only place you can park during our stay was up past The Grand hotel.
Overall a lovely stay, the staff there definitely make the atmosphere to our stay a bonus, we are planning to return again in the Autumn and would recommend The Belmont to family and friends.
