Intimate smaller hotel type setting, a taste of the simplicity of hotels way back when. Warm welcome, professional and helpful. Be redy to climb stairs. Cute room with a water basin perfect for washing hands or brushing teeth. I enjoyed sleeping with the window open. Next return i've requested a quiet room away from bathroom traffic.
Hotel is convenient and well located to everything. Safe.
Very clean and well kept. Staff was super friendly.

Arrived on the hottest day and was allocated a room, where the sun blind hadn’t been pulled down and was like a furnace. Returned to reception and explained I’m asthmatic. Very courteously found me an alternative room that was much cooler. The receptionist couldn’t have been more caring and helpful.
Although the rooms are small they are equipped with everything - including a powerful fan.
Great value for money.
Very close walk to king’s cross /st pancras. Affordable. Very compact rooms and stairwell. But the staff very conveniently allowed us to leave larger luggage downstairs.
Great location m, so close to Kings Cross. They have rooms in the building where the reception is and also across the road. We were in one of the rooms across the road and were lucky enough to get a lower ground floor one with a little patio outside - very welcome in the unusually warm weather. Quite a cramped layout (both the building itself and the room) but everything we needed was there and was fine if you’re just using it as a base to do other things in London. All of the windows had broken/missing handles which did not look great but did not affect our stay.
I throughly enjoyed my stay. After just landing in London I had a packed day of walking and touring and then I went to this place. It was a short and easy walk from kings cross. They were very kind at check in. Once I got to my room after being on a hot train on the underground and very heavy bag I was hot and it was so hot in my room. No air conditioning you know. But after a cold shower I was very comfortable in my room the rest of the night and my trip was in mid June. Check out went smoothly and they stored my bag for the day. I only stayed the one night but my stay was wonderful and I thought about extending it but my next place didn’t have a refund. Also there is a bigger king and McDonald’s really close by as well as tons of other food options but it was nice to see something familiar. Over all I recommend and would stay again. I hope this is helpful to you!
Very convenient location for Kings Cross and St Pancras. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel has recently been redecorated. The only problem I had was that two hotel residents decided to start arguing with each other just outside the front door. The night receptionist did eventually adk them to stop.
Just an overnight stay. Check in was super easy. Room was a twin and was a but tight for space but not horrifically. Everything was clean and in good order. Bed comfortable enough though was narrow for me - two or three times i thought i would roll out of bed when turning over. Great location. My room was in a building in the other side of the road from the reception (number 20) but this wasnt an issue. My room was in the back and was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to Euston Rd. Quick and easy check out. They offer a left luggage service.
Room very clean, as well as the bathroom – very clean by British standards. Air conditioning would be useful on such hot days. The only downside is the noise coming from the street, but that’s because the hotel is right next to the train station. Despite that, I highly recommend it.
First visit here as I usually stay at another similar hotel very close by
The reception area is neat and tidy and offers a range of snack items.
I was given a warm welcome and the very friendly/helpful receptionist helped me with my bag and also sorted out a minor door issue.
My single room was a good size, at the back so I was spared any road noise as the area is generally busy.
Overall was very pleased with the room facilities and as it was mid week, it was internally quiet but I think I got lucky with fewer people than would be around for a weekend.
Also extremely convenient for all transport/food options.
Will definitely book again.
