We loved the close proximity to the Metro, Hop On & Off bus stops & museums. There were several restaurants nearby with a variety of menus. The rooms accommodated our basic needs, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff were exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and tidy, but had an adjoining room which must have been partitioned in the past. I could hear the person in the room snoring, coughing and talking loudly at 5am on the phone as though he was in my room. Request a non adjoining room if you stay here. Someone there also gave out my room number to someone who called without my permission then tried to charge me for the call they transferred to my room. Pedro was extremely helpful in resolving the issue. It’s located in a ver convenient area and I’d recommend for a short stay.

I needed a quick and cheap overnight stay before a running event in London. The Bedford hotel, although not the cheapest, was very conveniently located. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube station and is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. I had a single room and although small (most London rooms are!), was clean and modern and everything worked fine. The check in staff were super friendly and helpful and all in all my stay was a pleasant one. Recommended.

Great location, reasonably priced
I had a lovely stay at the Bedford. I requested a quiet room (having read other reviews), and was given a room on the back of the hotel, overlooking the garden. I slept really well. Room was quite comfortable, very clean, staff was lovely, and the location, just down from Russel Square, was great. They’ll also allow you to drop your luggage if you arrive early.

Great location, enjoyed garden view from comfortable room. Good breakfast. Walls very thin, noise from adjoining room and shower temperature erratic, should be controlled to avoid scalding.
