One-night short stay

I needed a room near the airport so I could make an early return of my rental car and get a shuttle to the terminal. The Best Western fitted my need at a good room rate. I really only needed a bed for the night. The room was small but adequate.

Good value, perfect location for an early Heathrow flight. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a very nice indian meal at the hotel restaurant. Comfy bed and room, noisy when window open - to be expected with proximity to airport. Not a problem with window closed (air con).

It’s a perfectly decent place but I did not appreciate the shower handle being so incredibly hard to open and hard to close nor the bit of mold in a few places in the bathroom. I was expecting a mini fridge so I could store some food I had with me but I suppose maybe that’s not as standard of American hotel brands as I assumed? Overall perfectly nice place to stay. Just a few details that show the age of the place.
