The front desk staff were outstanding. The cleaning of the room was very, very, good!! The condition of the room was very, very, poor. The double pane window was filthy, between the panes , moisture and mold Headboard was in great disrepair Walls dirty & scuffed Attention to the condition of the room would make this a lovely little hotel

Rude staff.
Clean enough, but I a paid for a room with two beds. Specifically NOT a sofa bed, but we got a sofa bed. Staff acted as if that was my problem. Unapologetic and condescending.

On our first night at the Edward Paddington the electrical outlets in our room did not work, the room was ridiculously small, as well as their shower where I could not even turn around without bumping into a glass wall. There was no soap or shampoo, and the bed had a spring stabbing me in the ribs all night. When I told the woman at the front desk about the electrical outlets not working, she cracked a rude smile as if our bad experience was a joke to her. We also overpaid by a significant amount for that one night there. I realized the Hilton, a block away, was charging far less, so I rebooked with them for the rest of our time in London. The Hilton is ten times nicer and had plenty of rooms.

I chose this hotel for the stellar locaton and ease of getting around. The room is acceptable although the bed and pillows are too firm especially after a long day. The bathroom is small. If you have long legs or are full figured good luck with the toilet because you'll have to sit sideways. I had my DND sign on and came back to the room with a maintenance man standing in my bathroom. He said he was done fixing the shower, but i never reported any issues eith my room. When I went to the front desk they were very apologetic but they gave multiple excuses: he didnt speak English, he was fixing a light (the light was fine), he was fixing the shower rod (it was fine) and then they said he had left the door open so i would know someone was in there (the door was closed). Also this man had no tools with him.
