Staff was great! They were helpful, kind, and timely. One thing to note is this is a walk up property so there are no elevators and stairs are a bit narrow and steep when navigating with your luggage and little ones.

We picked this hotel as it was close to St. Pancras station where we had an early-morning Eurostar train to catch. While the room was clean, it was very compact and at the bottom of a steep, narrow staircase. The staff were very friendly and helped with our bags. I would stay here again under the same circumstances.
I am extremely disappointed. The room description did not state that we would be put in a basement room with very unpleasant smell and we could hear the rumbling of the underground below vibrating the furniture. I complained to staff the next morning when we checked out and there was no response from management. Unacceptable. In all my years as an expedia customer i never had such a poor stay. Neither myself nor my husband could sleep that night and my child was upset complaing about the unpleasant smell. I demand a refund and that hotel needs to make it clear in the description of the room that it is in the basement with noise and strong smell.
Convenient location for travel, clean premises, and satisfactory service. On the other hand, the surrounding area can get noisy and slightly unsafe being that's a large metropolitan area.
Easy transport to anywhere Bus 91 is just outside the property easy to go around London Bridge just 1 ride. Walking distance to Kings Cross station and St. Pancras Square. Lots of restaurants to choose. Overall stay was really good, we have everything we need, washing machine, we can cook as well. ..
Very close to King's Cross and St Pancras train stations. I arrived early they held my bags and even took them up to my room by the time I could check in.
Tiny but new, clean and comfortable family room. Beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. The staff helped us to move our luggages to the room while we waited for it to be ready. The hotel is very close to St.Pancras Station so it is easy for us to catch the train to Paris.
Great location walkable from Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations, easy check-in and own front door key, so great for coming and going. Was able to leave the key in the room due to early departure. The room (and especially the en suite) was 'cosy' but fine for my needs, which was a bed for the night due to a work event..
I had a very pleasant stay at the Jesmond Dene hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, the beds were reasonably comfortable, and the convenience of being only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras Train Station was fantastic. All in all, I'm happy to recommend the hotel.

This hotel is misleading.
Upon arriving they decided to place us in the basement. I wanted to cancel immediately and their answer was, you will be billed for the entire stay. There was an odour in the basement. When I booked the Jesmond Dene, at no point was it indicated that we would be staying in the basement.I argued but to no avail.So instead i had to pay $400 more to be upgraded. This is not good business and the next time. I will explore options on Expedia and then book directly. I have been using Expedia for 20 years, since its inception. I am not happy.
