This is essentially a uk version of a pod hotel- except it has a double bed, window and en-suite. Very small rooms but perfect for what we needed. Not sure I would have been so happy if I’d been staying for longer than 1 (or two) night. Or if I’d have been travelling with anyone over 6 foot. Overall a good experience for a loan traveller

As expected it was a compact room, but very hot spell of weather and a limited air con made the room uncomfortable. Good location and a helpful friendly team

Front door opened into the bed, shower didn’t drain properly and toilet water kept running. We stayed at the Point A in Paddington a week later and it was MUCH better!

The room was small, but highly efficient. I had enough room for my luggage but couldn’t have it spread out all over the place, but that’s kind of a good thing. It made me more mindful of unpacking and when it was time to go, it was much easier because most of my stuff remained in my luggage. The shower was small and had a phone booth type door but who cares? I just needed a place to sleep in a place to shower. The staff was absolutely fantastic. It’s a bit busier but a central location and I walked everywhere. There is a tube station real close, but I never needed it. There were 24 hour shops directly across the street and coffee within a stones throw. When I am back in London again, and I’m looking for just a place to sleep in freshen up I absolutely will be staying there. Very economical, very clean, everything I needed.

Clean and well located. Staff were very good but wouldn’t stay again as the matress was so uncomfortable neither of us slept for the two nights which ruined our weekend. We considered moving to another hotel. Staff did give us another duvet to lay in but it didn’t help

Great location…very close to the Underground train system. Rooms are tiny…be prepared. There is no place to put your belongings so we lived out of our suitcases. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Overpriced
The negatives : The room was minuscule! I kept banging my elbows when trying to get changed. Nowhere to put bags so just had to step over them to get from the bed to the bathroom! The window wouldn’t close so there was no sound proofing at all, so I was treated to the joys of sirens all night. The lift only went up to the 5th floor and the narrow staircase was narrow, so very difficult to get up with three bags. No kettle, so that much needed cup of tea in the morning didn’t happen! I felt this was overpriced for the negatives that existed. The positives : it was spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful and the staff on the front desk were polite and professional.

Cramped and noisy
Cosy solo room is claustrophobically tiny with no desk and uncomfortable. Noisy, large gap under door, bright street lights with inadequate curtains.
