What a great place to stay for the last night of our trip to England. Wonderful in-house restaurant and pub, massive room for our family of 4, and a great vibe all around. Wished we had taken some time to see Twickenham, as it looked great on the way to the airport in the morning. Hope to stay here again and do that next time!
Probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.
The main door did not open fully as the bed was in the way. Likewise the wardrobe door didn't open for same reason.
Windows were single glazed so full of condensation - I am still recovering from the damp - and did not block any external noise - we were on 3rd floor but could hear every conversation outside the main entrance to the hotel.
Despite asking "do not disturb" housekeeping staff stood out side our door each day for the noisy conversations.
Every door on that floor was slammed shut by everyone using themNo minibar, no replenished tea/coffee etc.
Rusty vent in shower.
Poorly maintained decor in bathroom.
The TV was virtually the size of a laptop.
Plenty of power points - just no power from them (I expect poorly wired in).
To be told that the room is going to be refurbished next year is no consolation to me - just confirmation that it was not fit for purpose when I was being charged to stay in it.
Even the lift was like something from the 70's - everywhere was just so "tired".
Even Premier Inn and Wetherspoons would be embarrassed about the lack of quality here - yet it looks so promising from the outside.
If I could give it no stars I would but the minimum is one.
I was pleased with the size of the room and the quiet part of the resort we were in away from the main building with the sound of Teddington’s lock in the distance. The room was in good condition and clean. I don’t think the heated towel rail was working was the only thing I noticed. Also when I checked in it was after dark and I got lost trying to locate the building away from the main hotel once I checked in and as it’s not a very well lit site and I went the wrong way, it was a bit disconcerting. Almost certainly my mistake but perhaps taking people to the relevant exit would help or give clearer instructions,. The staff were helpful and polite though. Thanks would love to stay again and use more of the facilities next time.
The Lensbury is a very good solution for staying in comfortable surroundings in South West London.
Thecrooms are good, we didcask for a bath when booking but were put in a room withba shower (ugh)! however we survived. Whatcwas bad was, lack of properv cleaning if the room, wash basin and lavatory not cleaned. Also very annoying to be told at 9pm after dinner that the coffee machine had "been closed down", ie " cant be bloody bothered, why dont you have a drink".
Stolen my perfume and neckless and after my complain they said sorry the lady who cleaning the room working 8 yeara and never happen this before . I ask them did you open camera to check they said not allowed i have to go police and i ask the reception how do you confirm if this is true she didn’t know what to say really was upset and not care what happen with me …
The hotel is really nice and all of the staff are so friendly.
This was my first visit but I’ve booked to go back in January.
This is now my go to hotel when I am in west Lobdon

The hotel itself and grounds are absolutely stunning, however the rooms are another story!!
The rooms do not seem to have been updated since the 1980's, grim carpets, black mould and cracked flooring in the bathroom, shower head full of limescale so the water sprays everywhere.
I DO NOT recommend anyone to spend a single penny to stay here!!
