Clean comfortable room. Easy walk to public transport. However, LA downtown is certainly not picturesque or a nice part of LA. Lots of homeless people. Lots of empty shops. Seems like a city centre that is dying.

Hotel was clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. The ladies at the front desk helped us a few times (I can’t recall their names) and they were very friendly. They suggested where to eat and things for us to do in the area.

Every time I come to downtown, Los Angeles is usually for work. But this time I came for a six day stay with my husband to celebrate New Year’s Eve and our anniversary. Doubletree downtown LA amaze me with their service. Diana M. As always she was amazing. Her service is always on point. The suite was amazing, spacious, comfortable and top knotch Restaurant staff in the morning are the best Marco and Maria. Amazing hospitality service. This was a great 6 day getaway, the staff Diana M. Marcos Maria made it even better. I would recommend for you to stay at this hotel, whether for business or pleasure

Too many homeless people nearby felt unsafe to walk at night. Can see few during day time too. Some are full on drunk. Hotel room.is very clean but no cutlery or water provided. Thankfully there is a 7/11 nearby. Staff are very friendly and well-organized. Overall hotel is very clean but area is not so safe. Theres a Japanese garden within the hotel as well.as tokyo town in walking distance.

The staff was very nice and professional. The restaurant and bar closed to early. When trying to call the restaurant to place a carryout order because I was checking out no one answered the phone. The wait for an elevator was very long most times. I only saw 2 out of the 4 elevators in use during my stay. The neighborhood was less than desirable. There waa a 7eleven conveniently across the street but it did not feel safe. Nor did the area when trying to find a restaurant in walking distance. Because the area is unsafe it wouls be nice if the hotel bar & restaurant offered later hours.

For hilton wqs horrible or the standards are horrible now. Very otdated meaning wallpaper peeling from walls tv kept going in and out, ive stayed in better motel 6 for work. I was told i could pay for valet cash at check-out out, come to find out they charged me at check in when i went to pay cash at check-out
