Exacellent motel in an excellent location. The room was spacious and came with a lot of amenities. The staff was friendly and provided us with a lot of items upon request (clothes steamer, beach towels etc). Highly recommend!

Great place to stay, central and walkable to SM pier and Venice Beach. A funky old style motel. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. This is a family run business and it shows in such a good way. Highly recommended..

This is a real vintage motel. It reminded me of places we would stay when I was a child. The check-in went smoothly and the man at the desk was friendly and helpful. There are coffeemakers and a microwave in the lobby and guests can choose which one to take to their room at check-in. The motel is in a convenient location, close to some restaurants and the beach. The Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach are both about a mile away. The biggest problem we had was that we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and there is a bar across the street that was very noisy well into the night. Not the motel’s fault, but certainly worth mentioning. Otherwise, it was fine for the price and offered free, safe parking.

My friend and I really enjoyed staying here. The location is excellent and the room is comfortable. We also appreciated the lovely reception dog Akira and his very helpful and friendly owner Tom.

Very nice man and his cute dog working the front desk. The room was spaciuos and clean. My only issue was that the bed was a firm box spring and the pillows were flat. But a nice one night stay overall.

This might be the best 2 star hotel on the planet. The staff were super friendly, and the room was to die for. I can totally recommend the suites, so roomy. And the beach is a 5 minute stroll away, and they have free towels and surf boards. Sensational, I’ll be back again

The location was good, close to the ocean. From Sea Shore you could walk to many places (Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, restaurants, etc). Public transport is accessible and close to the motel. There’s a laundromat close by. The room was clean and was spacious. There’s a refrigerator and kettle. We found the bed comfy. There’s good communication in that Sea Shore messaged us to confirm our arrival. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the sea shore motel, large parking lot in the rear, staff was friendly, small tv and no microwave in the room was a bummer, we had plenty of left overs on the last night with no way to warm them up, unfortunately you can feel any tiny bit of sand on the hard stone floors, i would stay here again in a pinch but we are more used to the traditional hotel rooms.
