Amenities are basic, but food and staff were great. Recommended if you are looking for a cheap and chill vacation. If you are looking for more to do or nicer amenities I recommend paying a little more and staying somewhere else. Definitely recommend san jose del cabo over cabo.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was small and comfortable. The staff where all super nice and friendly. Especially Bernardo and Antonio at the pool bar. It is an older resort but very well kept up. The beds and pillows in our room lft something to be desired. And we were not able.to.get a drink till the pool bar opened at 11:00. But over all i would stay here again,especially for the price.

I really enjoyed my stay at posada real. My only complaints are directed towards the conditions of the rooms and the quality of the buffet food. Our room had some rust on the bathroom floor from the shower curtain also, our balcony door handle was broken. The buffet dinner food was hit-or-miss. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Reception staff was great and courteous. Food was limited options and simple when eating at "Buffett".... not worth the $26 ea person! Room was clean but things outdated like bathroom shower stall. Bed was comfy and got good rest. Checkout was way and quick. Still the food could have been better for the price.

My husband and I really loved staying here, Great food choices, nice rooms, wonderful staff all very welcoming. This place is very laid back and relaxing by the pool and walks in the beach is very close. I would recommend to all my friends you can go wrong in staying at the Posada Real, Rico and Christina

As many reviews state, it is an older resort but it is impecably maintained, clean pool and rooms and the nicest staff. We chose to have only the breakfast included and it was great. Definitely we will return.

The place is comfy but to old. No microwave in the room wi-Fi signal to poor but the biggest problem was the restaurant. First my wife had hair on her food the on the 2nd day I found hair on my food I I brought it up to administration just to find out they said there’s nothing they can do about it. Very unhappy.

A nice older relaxing resort that is priced reasonably. Pool was nice. Area around was nice quiet and safe. Food was good. The place really needs to have a refrigerator in each room, this was the biggest disappointment. The TV remote has a button for Netflix but when pressed would only change the sound quality. The shower head/water pressure was weak. WiFi would not work in bathroom. Everything else was fine and enjoyable. Might consider staying here again in the future.

Pay the extra cash for another hotel you will love
When we arrived to check in everything went normal up until we got to our room when I tried to take a shower. There was no water. I called the front desk and was told it would be back in 30 min. So we went to the pool and saw the employees taking water out of the pool in buckets for use in the hotel and the other guest said they had been out of water for a day already and that they were fixing the pumps so why did they bother to tell us this at check in I felt taken advantage of jipped robed for the price they charge a night it’s ridiculous. The 30 year old hotel is well taken care of visually but it’s what you expect form a older property the staff is mediocre to say it nicely and the all inclusive plan which we pairs 50$ per person was worse than elementary school food. The only restaurant is in the lobby and its food is stale and tasteless as If it’s 30 years old it’s self. The day we checked out we got a burger before we left and they were trying to charge us for it because it was past our check out Time by 15 min. Really but yet you have no water in treating. I’d say avoid the property all together and pony up the extra dough for a newer property it will be worth it.
