We had an ocean-view room that was spacious enough for the two of us. It was clean and the internet wifi connwction was reliable throughout the resort. The concierge, Gabriel, was very informative about the region, and helped us with a late checkout while we waited to depart. Julia (?), the activity coordinator was energetic and made volleyball fun. Enjoyed all the activities and various restaurants. I don’t know why people would complain about this place. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Gabriel Avila the concierge for expedia guest is awesome!!! 10 stars . The resorts Altitude club needs a total makeover! Not worth the extra money. I have visited this resort prior and the altitude side was only open to the club. Not this time. We would of had long waits to restaurants but Gabriel took care of it for us. Other than that if you dont expect to be at the adult side the resort is woderful the servers are very hardworking and make sure your taken care of. Hugo at the Altitude bar knows how to make great Old fashions and margaritas. At the sports bar the karaoke is fun and the bar tender there makes great drinks too. The only beer available is tecate light and regular. I went into town and went to baja brewery and grabbed a couple growlers of IPA. Yummiest! I will go back but will not pay for Altitude unless some changes are made.

Very old building. Not updated. Paint and moister peeling off the wall. House cleanings don’t change the sheets even after 3 days that is usual in all hotels. Waiters in restaurants are not trained enough to know what and when to serve. You have to ask for items each time.

Krystal Grand sits toward the end of a beautiful, long beach with crashing waves and smooth sand. The hotel and rooms look nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating, especially the concierge and the Expedia concierge. Unfortunately, attention to details is missing. Bed legs were broken on two beds, shampoo missing from the bathroom and water bottles from the fridge upon our arrival. The A/C stopped working. The snack bar was out of cups, the towel stall out of towels (more than twice), the gym out of disinfecting wipes, the restaurant out of major drinks, etc. The buffet, when the hotel first opened, had excellent food with innovative cuisine. Now it’s the same grub, day after day, with no distinct flavors or recipes. There was only one set of salt and pepper shakers for the entire outdoor patio and all its tables. The Grill had people waiting for two hours one night for their meals and we were told that we probably wouldn’t want to stay unless we wanted to wait a long time. The Japanese restaurant didn’t seem to have much of a connection to Japan. The tempura veggies had mushy tempura and there were only two servers for a full restaurant. Menus were limited. The concierge and reception took care of the repairs and were accommodating, but even they couldn’t fix the poor quality of food. The music was blasted around the pools at full volume, making it impossible to find a quiet spot anywhere on the property at times. Things have changed a lot since 2017.

A very nice stay! We went for my birthday and was received with a cake in our room plus they sang happy birthday at a restaurant. The staff was all friendly. Food was ok, not the best. But everything else was great! We loved the pools

Disliked the different tiers of guest. Dislike the dishonest timeshare people. Most everything was a joke from the check in, wristbands and how we were treated and lied to by almost all. All inclusive was also a joke, it was pulling teeth to get beer, water and coffee in our rooms. The best thing about our stay was Nicole, if it wasn't for her I would have insisted on a full refund. Pool and bar staff great!

I’m certain something is wrong with their alcohol. I had 4 drinks from their bar and had spasms, couldn’t breathe, blacked out, vomit, fever, cold sweats. Couldn’t breath without pain in my stomach which spasmed, had shortness of breath. Property is nice and beautiful. Staff is friendly but the drinks… be careful. Side note, I am a heavy drinker and can drink way more than 4. Especially in a span of 5 hours. Blacking out from that is very suspicious.

We had an excellent stay at Krystal Grand Resort,and I must say the experience was made even better by the exceptional service from the front desk from Expedia Gabriel.he ensure everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We celebrated my husband's Birthday. The hotel itself was immaculate, with spacious rooms and modern amenities that made our stay so enjoyable. The staff’s attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. the location was peaceful that allowed us to unwind. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The staff, particularly the front desk team, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. They even offered thanksgiving dinner with plenty of food ,live band and entertainment! Which we absolutely enjoyed!We look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Krystal Grand! The resort was spotless, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. A special thank-you to Gabriel, who worked with Expedia—he was super helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. His assistance truly made our trip smoother. We went for my Mothers birthday, and the staff went above and beyond for her! While the buffet offered a wide variety of options, it did feel a bit excessive after a few days, and we found ourselves wishing for more variety or lighter meal choices. However the restaurant were great, we really loved the Italian place Risotto! Wish the massages were included in our package along with the sky lounge. Overall, Krystal Grand is a fun and peaceful place to stay. It’s family-friendly without being overrun by kids, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We would definitely consider staying here again!
