Was delighted they served veggie sausage patties, that was a first. The curtain in the room was damaged and the shower liner although I’m sure it was clean was stained.

Check in was wonderful. The woman at the desk had helped me via phone the night before when Expedia sent me into a panic and she put me right at ease. Bed was comfy as always, room clean as usual. Will definitely stay here again.

This property is right next to the freeway but you cannot hear any traffic noise. It is conveniently located not far from downtown new and downtown old Shelbyville. There are some gas and food places with 5 mins of the hotel. Hotel staff were really nice. The common areas were very clean and tidy. Breakfast wasn’t the best options - not a ton of variety, but expected because it’s the same sort of food for many hotels. The vent in our bathroom was caked in dust plus wasn’t working. We let staff know but it wasn’t corrected, so we let them know again and they cleaned it. Hotel needs updating in the flooring. You can see the stain marks throughout. The beds and pillows were so comfy, I had a wonderful sleep every night.

First set of keys were not keyed to entrance. Our room was open when we approached. The air conditioner was non functioning and the room was extremely hot. We had to move to another room.The mattress was very saggy. The floor lamp had to be plugged in and unplugged to use as the floor switch did not work. All in all this hotel could use some upgrades.but served the purpose of an overnight stay.
