Stunning hotel fantastic staff we had a junior suite the room was immaculate and really spacious shower was fantastic i would highly recommend the hotel just a fantastic evening there ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆from me

Terrible room-barely enough space for one person, never mind two. The cupboard doors couldn’t open fully, there was only one bedside table, the bed was too soft, the bathroom had hairs on the wall, the shower overflowed, flooding the floor so we had to use the towels to mop it up, and the next day, the bed was hardly made (it was as I left it) and the bathroom was not cleaned. We had to get some Tesco cleaning products to give it a good wipe. Never staying here again. Also, parking is extra as is the very expensive cooked breakfast that really wasn’t exactly that exciting or very much of it. Not worth the money we paid. If this room and experience was because we didn’t book directly with the hotel, this booking site should have a word with them because I would be reluctant to use the site again.

Stay in a Tudor inn
This is an amazing building dating back to 1619 that’s been beautifully renovated. Rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. There’s parking at the back but is not included. Breakfast we thought is expensive at over £15 and it would have been nice to have a cheaper continental option.

Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The food in the restaurant was good with more than generous portions. But check your bill carefully, they overcharged us twice.

Terrible check in. Arrived at 2.05pm (aware check in not until 4) told earlier if a room became available. Decided to eat lunch (big mistake) 5 other couples arrived after us, did not buy anything, given rooms quickly. 3.20 went to reception. Room still not ready . Checked in at 3.40. Moral - did not start spending
