We were quite disappointed. It was the most expensive hotel of our road trip and not even half as good as the others. It didn’t look like the photos at all, and it was awkward to think it’s a four stars.
When we arrived I thought it was the wrong hotel, it’s in an industrial area on a busy road with weird cheap casinos, like a motel in an American movie.
the room was freezing, we asked the reception to stop the air conditioning, the guy was nice and stopped it. But it didn’t work at all and cold air was still blasting right at us.
Going to the only elevator, we saw a sign which said the rooftop was closed due to an event (we booked the hotel specifically for this rooftop, as they advertise it as their best selling point). We didn’t get any heads up per email or when checking in.
We booked a room upstairs to have a nice view of the city, we had a nice view on a big noisy road and saw some buildings far away.
To walk to the actual city it was ok, but you’re definitely not staying in the city.
Parking was 12€ a day which was ok.
Breakfast was nice (and finally got to see the last floor).
Overall I would recommend this hotel if it was half price and advertised as a 3 stars, because it wasn’t so terrible, the bed was comfy and the pillows too, it was just far from our expectations.
