Located in a pleasant part of the old town, the rear overlooking the lake, this is a modest two star hotel. There are over 20 rooms across four floors and so there are lots of stairs to climb for some guests - not a problem for me but could be for some. My room, 19, was quite spacious and well-equipped and overlooked the lake. The decor and furnishings are a bit garish: bright orange, lime green and red, which seems to be deliberate rather than odd taste. The buffet breakfast has a good selection of dishes for a hotel of this size. My only slight misgiving is that, being family run, the staff to guest ratio is quite low and when several guests were trying to check out the reception staff seemed overstretched.
