On the first night of a 2-night stay, the fire alarm went off twice due to heavy rain and lightning. We were evacuated into the dark rainy night at 3:30 in the morning and told we should not plan to come back the next night. We booked another hotel the following night. When we asked for a refund for the 2 nights, they said they could do nothing. Then they agreed to send a wire transfer for 1 night. That was 8 days ago and I never received the refund.

Difficult town if you need a taxi. No taxis at train station. Breakfast was good. Hotel was not expecting us and had difficulty finding our reservation. Air conditioning works well.

Great hotel but don't need the attitude at checkin
The hotel is in a great location, and was quite comfortable. After a day's travelling we really didn't need the disdainful, obnoxious attitude of the receptionist. When asked in French if she spoke English, the answer in French was "do you speak French". We don't appreciate that sort of a slapdown in a tourist location. Won't be back.

It was awesome walking out of the hotel right into the middle of the Saturday Farmers Market. We were so close to everything we wanted to see. It was great!

Simple room that was quiet & clean . Front of house staff were polite & helpful . Perfectly situated for an easy stroll into central Beaune. Safe street parking outside ( chargeable up to 7pm free on Sundays)
