Nicosia is one of the most significant cities in Cyprus, and it's easily reachable from Lympia. You'll find it around 25 kilometres to the northwest.

Sitting 17 kilometres to the southeast, Finikoudes Beach is a wonderful place to spend a bit of time strolling along the shore. Nissi Beach also offers visitors some gorgeous scenery. You'll find this popular shoreline 45 kilometres to the southeast.

Everyone knows that time spent in nature can improve your well-being, both mental and physical. In light of that, why wouldn't you head 17 kilometres out of Lympia to Larnaca Salt Lake? Tourist Information Ayia Napa, just 50 kilometres away, is another excellent option.

No soccer lover should miss out on a trip to GSZ Stadium, located 14 kilometres away in Larnaca. Take a look at the event schedule to find out when they're playing. If you miss them, why not catch the venue's second home team, the AEK Larnaca F.C?

Venture outwards and find out what's happening in Mosfiloti, 5 kilometres to the southwest. Lots of visitors come here for the Agia Varvara Monastery and Stavrovouni Monastery. Alternatively, Delikipos is 12 kilometres to the southwest of Lympia. Head to this locality for access to the Fatsa Wax Museum and the First Industrial Laboratory of Ayia Varvara.

Keen to check out Eleftheria Square, the Famagusta Gate and the Cyprus Library? Make tracks to Yenişehir, 25 kilometres to the north, and set up base. These attractions, along with the Cyprus Folk Art Museum and Archbishop's Palace, are all not far away.

To really experience a place is to sample the local food and drink, so prepare to munch, crunch, sip and slurp your way across Nicosia District. The only thing you need to take with you is a strong appetite!
