Initially the Manager made us most welcome, bringing flowers, muffins and words of advice .. an unexpected and delightful surprise ... and we soon found the homestead comfortable, clean and attractive with plenty of space, great beds and all the mod cons. The garden is just heavenly - filled with flowers, trees and an array of local birdlife ... not to mention cheeky wallabies and the occasional wild turkey or pheasant! 220 was the perfect base from which to go forth daily to meet friends, explore KI's amazingly pristine beaches, unique scenery and townships and, of course, enjoy great food. The Islanders are all very friendly and we found it easy to relax on our holiday. Incidentally the air is unbelievably clean and fresh on KI ... so make sure to take great lungfuls of it! This farmstay and the island were a joy - and truly a lovely place on earth.

This house is great for up to 3 couples or a family and is about half way between the 2 major golf courses - Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham. Hosts were brilliant with comms. Pantry is stocked with staples and the local catering was fabulous. Great fire places for a rainy day. Only 2 bathrooms/showers, both with the toilets in them which was the only drawback. You need a hire car if you stay here.

Blue Wren Cottage was perfect for our recent 4-day stay when we were looking for somewhere quiet to recharge ourselves. It was very well-equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay more comfortable. The pretty garden and sea views were very relaxing. It is some distance to shops and restaurants, but was well-set-up for self catering. A local restaurant is planning to reopen in Nov 2024.

Lovely accommodation. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay we will be back!

Fabulous Views surround this property which is clean and well maintained, with some basic supplies in the pantry and shops and local pub a 2min drive or 10-15 min walk away. the Driveway is very step but room to turn around at top in most vehicles. only 2 small points i found where the Spa which is beautiful and clean has no step if you happen to be short and not so athletic like myself, and the dryer in its space saving position is virtually unusable unless you are 6ft tall there is also no hand rail up front steps which is not a use issue but care must be taken if steps are damp.
