Awful money grabbing attitude
Everything here is an attempt to cut costs and make more money. Bed not made (fine), no Aircon despite crazy heat, towels for rent (3.5 euro), lose your keycard (5 euro to replace a bit of plastic), showers on very short timers, toiletries not refilled, bathrooms dirty with mould on ceilings, ants in rooms. Want to leave your bag for a few hours before leaving? Pay per hour for lockers. Awful awful attitude for a hostel.

No Aircon and noisy, but ok
Industrial style hostel with many rooms and not a whole lot of charm. Towels and breakfast both extra. Very hot evening when I was here and as far as I could tell no Aircon, so Windows open. Very noisy until probably 3am or 4am since it was a Saturday night in central Lyon.

Very nice hostel on the hearth of Lyon, 30m ftom metro station. Friendly staff, well secure, one minus is they dont have storage room. Instead of that you can leave your luggage at paid lockers. Rooms are big, clean, usb plugs at every bed. Only lack of curtain for individual bed. But in general great hostel. I would stay there again if were in Lyon again.

Hostel location was great, and you can’t beat the price for Lyon. However this is a hostel where you must bring your earplugs or noise canceling headphones due to thin walls and street noises well into the morning. Due to covid all hostel social activities are suspended.

Had a good stay at this hostel! The staff were nice, and they gave a coin for a free drink as a welcome gift. The WiFi is pretty good. In the women’s bathroom on the first floor, there are: 5 shower stalls, 2 toilet stalls, and one hair dryer. If you want to do laundry, it’s 6 euros. The aesthetic is pretty modern/minimalistic. They provide a full kitchen and fridge. They also have a cafe and bar. As for cleanliness, it was pretty good. The only thing I will say is that I came back one night and the sheets had a stain on them that I don’t recall...It was late so I just took off the sheets and slept as is.

Again staff was nice and great location. Issues: rooms were dirty. Floor was covered in hair and dirty, needed swept or vacuumed. The dorms were full of mosquitos. I mean full. I received almost 30 bites over the two nights and many on my face. The rooms were so hot that you had to leave the windows open (no fans, no AC) so that meant mosquitos. Pick your poison: mosquitos or cook in the dorms.

Overpriced and anti social
Well beds r hard as rock social vibe irrelevant, better and cheaper off having a party in ur own room than down in the common area. They need to organize a actual luggage room as well vs. Small laying lockers when u vould simply lpck the door to the luggage room like every other hostel on earth does. Staff are not as qualified as need to tlbe eother. Typical unorganized uneducated uncompfy french place.

I loved my room! I checked it late at night at got a room with only one person in it. I wish there was more variety for breakfast but I loved that they have soy milk alternative! Note:Bring your own towels.. they don’t provide ;(

Good spot to stay, needs shower improvement
Great clean hostel, very welcoming, loved cafe & bar aspect. However, shower didn’t stay on and didn’t have hot water - not sure if this was because it had been used up by other guests but did make it uncomfortable, and the bed had some hair on the bottom sheet still. However, had a great location with metro line just in park above & quite close to most things, just be prepared for a hilly walk if you choose to walk! Overall a great experience with just a couple ways to improve the comfort.
