Overall comfortable well priced hotel
Good stay. Large, nicely decorated room, nice comfortable bedding. Well considered communal areas. Friendly staff. Wish we had time to use the facilities. Tasty, fresh breakfast only negative comment would be the lack of atmosphere in a large conference room used for breakfast service.

Great place to stay
Have stayed several times. Always clean, lovely room, big bed, excellent shower, good facilities. Ate in the club bar - was surprisingly good as expectations were low based on other reviews online of the food here

Enjoyable stay in great hotel..
A great place to stay for a quiet weekend away or to explore the Peak District. The swimming pool and spa were good, the hotel is very clean, breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place to stay. Room is very well appointed with a comfortable (and massive) bed and a beautiful bathroom. We will happily stay here again next time we are in town.

Hotel side was great, modern, spotless and clean rooms with all the stuff you need. Spacious rooms, great bathroom with everything provided, beds were comfy and overall great. Restaurant needs work as the food wasn’t the best. Our meal was brought out as it came one thing at a time so food went cold waiting for the rest. Meals were given to the wrong table and then attempted to be given to us straight from the other guests table. I would understand if it were busy but at the time it was only us and two other tables in the restaurant.

Nice hotel but disappointed use of spa facilities
We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. However we were told by reception on arrival that we could use the spa facilities the following day, which we were looking forward to, we were then told we couldn’t use the facilities after 11am at checkout. This was extremely disappointing given that we booked the hotel for the reason of the spa facilities.
