Luxury swimming pool? Not so much!
The swimming pool was.extremely small and there was seating for only 8 people. The location also isn’t great with regards to shops and restaurants but it is close to the airport. So a few issues to over come but well worth it. The staff was an amazing, helpful and really friendly. The breakfast was excellent and they even had a high end coffee machine making Cappuccino’s. For the money this was a 5 star rating all the way.

If you are an American and you want to stay in Madrid, I would not book this property because it is in the outskirts. There is public transportation, but it’s tricky to use. Not much of the staff was very welcoming or friendly, I think that they assumed that as an American, I can’t speak Spanish or understand what they were saying, and there were plenty of times when especially the bartenders would talk about me in my face but because they were speaking Spanish, they assumed that I didn’t know what they were saying. The mall is less than 10 minutes driving but it is about a 45 minute walk. If you’re looking to come to Madrid and you want to be in the city of Madrid, I would not book this property but if you would like to be about 20 to 30 minutes by car. Then I would book this property. The room was really nice.

This was the only brand hotel that in my European month’s sojurn that I am familiar with and had frequently used in the past in the US so it was a nice stay knowing the quality you expect and used to. It is reasonable in price as Madrid is an expensive city when you stay in the city center. This hotel is a short taxi ride to city center so doable.

Very comfortable stopover
I arrived to the hotel later than planned due to a flight delay so didn’t have the time to enjoy the hotel as much as I could, which was sad because the hotel is modern, clean and very comfy. My room was spacious with a comfy chair and small table which were a bonus. There were plenty of plug points around the room including beside the bed and in the bathroom there were bottles of hand soap, shampoo etc. The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked effectively. I had only a few hours sleep due to the timing of my arrival but the room was super quiet, without hearing the road or airport noise as it is near a motorway but this doesn’t have an impact at all. The service was friendly and check in was easy. Breakfast was acceptable with a decent variety of different choices. Overall I found it was good value for money - it is further away from the airport than some other hotels and doesn’t have anything around it other than other hotels, but even if you take a taxi to get to/from the airport it is much cheaper than the hotels closest to the airport. For me this was a much better option.

New Hotel
Everything about the hotel is great. They only have a few people working so if you need anything you have to get it yourself. We asked for towels a few times and they never arrived. We needed an iron and ironing board and we had to get it ourselves. Everything else about the hotel is great. The breakfast was very good and they offered many different options. The rooms are very clean and new.

Situated next the motorway, there is constant noise from the road. The breakfast was poor, food that was meant to be hot was generally cold and limited choose. Beds are very uncomfortable. Hotel very isolated and nothing in walking distance.

We booked this airport hotel stay at the end of our trip in Spain. We had walked the Camino and had a fun but active and somewhat physically demanding vacation and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was very new, clean and quiet.
