Do not go here if you value your sleep. The rooms lack any form of soundproofing. I could hear people talking in the hallways incredibly loudly, especially when they were waiting for the lift as my room was near it. It's in a convenient location, was fairly clean, staff were fine, but one of the main reasons for a hotel is sleep, and with the noise issues, it's absolutely not worth it.

The hotel staff was friendly, great breakfast buffet. The location was ideal to see the city Christmas displays, couldn't have been a better location in Madrid. Also close the theaters and shopping and many restaurants. I would love to go back in warmer weather the rooftop bar is open for the view.

I liked everything, this was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I'm already thinking about booking this hotel again the next time I travel to Madrid. I'm also recommending it to my friends. The hotel is centrally located, with good service and very friendly staff, and good cleanliness.

LOCATION!
You can't beat the location! Hotel is very pretty and staff was friendly. We had a drink at the bar upstairs and she made me an excellent martini. The bed was just okay, it wasn't the most comfortable. The shower water was inconsistent - it fluctuated between too hot and not hot enough. I loved the bidet! Service all around was very good. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again on the location alone.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and efficient. Bring your Netflix account as there are no English entertainment channels on the TV. Would definitely stay again.

Good location!
This is my third trip to Madrid over 3 months and I stayed at various hotels. The stay in this hotel was perfect for shopping, eating and going to the theater. In fact, I also went to the Lion King musical, 3 doors down. I like this hotel and as a gold member, my room was upgraded to a club room. The room was large as was the bathroom. The bed was not as comfortable as the other hotels tht I had stayed in but it was ok. Breakfast wasn’t that memorable and could be better. The rooftop terrace and restaurant was special and is worth a drink or a meal to enjoy the view. The reception was cordial but not particularly warm. All in all, it was a good stay and I would certainly recommend this to anyone who may be interested in a night out. The area around is buzzing, even at midnight!

Hotel is old but room was renovated. Bedroom is very good. Shower stall in bathroom is tight. I am 5’2” with a small frame and I still found the shower area small. Room is non-smoking, but smelled like cigarette when we checked in. Hotel is on Grand Via which is a very busy street with lots of tourists and shoppers.

Loved the staff. Doina who cleaned our room was very friendly and efficient. Great location close to everything. A small issue with noise traveling between rooms. Overall excellent stay!
