This property was perfect for our few days. It had everything we needed ...... comfy beds, plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery, fantastic views, warmth and a feeling of home.Having the sleepout was great also.

there is so much to do right on the door step or the space to relax while taking in the views. With a 10 minute drive you can enjoy New Zealands best fish and chip shop or walk the many beachs. Thanks for the mosr unwiding,relaxing and dream hoild spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely little house, perfect size for a small family. Very close to the beach. A short drive to Oamaru, if in need of supplies. Plenty of board games and DVDs (although some didn't work on the DVD player, 'out of zone') to entertain on quiet days.

What an amazing venue. Huge place with lovely spacious rooms. Very clean and the staff were really helpful. They also make Belgian Chocolate on site! If you ask you can visit the kitchen and watch it being made. Beautiful grounds and a fantastic place to stay

We loved the location and the quaint bach. Kids loved the kayaks and bodyboards. Would love to return one day.

Kakanui is a beautiful small town with lots of activities to offer. Kim is easy to communicate with. The place is clean and has what you need to eat at home and sleep well. Comfy beds, and warm blankets. The sunroom is lovely with a fantastic view of Kakanui beach and the rivermouth. Nice garden to walk around the property. Kind neighbors too. We will stay there again
