My third time of staying here. I was travelling with my 2 grown up sons and booked a family room for 3 adults. There was one double bed and a camp bed. I assumed there would be 3 single beds. Loads of choice for breakfast and available up to 10.30am.

The location of the hotel was central less than 5 minutes walk from the Malmo central station and bus station and about 15 minutes walk to the shopping and restaurants area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was small but it was the compact room but it was hot as aircondition (not sure if it was working or no aircondition at all). Best breakfast we had as lots of choices and the roll/breads were fresh and delicious.

Beware of the BED BUGS
Be really wary about staying here. The first room that I checked in to had bed bugs! When I reported it to the receptionist she couldn’t care less and just stared at me. She asked me to repeat myself! I had to ask to move rooms and she made me feel like I was a massive inconvenience to her. I queries what bed bug precautions they have in place and she said “housekeeping will look tomorrow”. The room that I was moved to was much bigger but really gloomy. The lighting is badly designed. The shower was mouldy, the shower doors leaked and there was no bath mat! The room was really dated. The communal area on the ground floor is really modern though with lots of great features and the person who checked me out was helpful.

The hotel seems fine. Checkin was a breeze and the breakfast was surprisingly good. The room was clean but no frills. I took an economy room since it was mostly just to close enough to the airport for my flight out, so maybe more standard size rooms are nicer.

The only thing I did not like about this hotel was the price, but I understand that as it was Eurovision week prices were inflated due to high demand. Things I did like about the hotel - That the inside was not quite what you would expect from the outside - it was more interesting! - The staff - all friendly and helpful - The room though compact had just about everything I needed (maybe a few more hanging spaces for clothes), I also liked the feature wall. - The breakfasts were the best bit - so much choice in food and drinks. I especially liked the stewed mushrooms and the beetroot hummus.
