Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. I was disappointed with the quality of our stay for the price we paid. The room was old and uncomfortably hot with no AC, only ceiling fans, and poor air circulation even with the windows open. I had trouble sleeping because of this. The room was outdated compared to others I saw. The pool was clean, but the jacuzzi was not working. On the positive side, the location was convenient, with Vons nearby and just a few minutes' drive from The Village at Mammoth. I will not stay here again as it was too expensive for what we got, not even free breakfast!

The chair’s upholstery was stained and worn as were the couch pillows. A smaller and quiet fan fitting the bedroom window would be helpful. The one that was in the room was way too loud to have it on. The three nights that we stayed in were very warm. The mattress was bouncy. We liked that the rooms were bright and the balcony was nice. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs.

The room was not cleaned before our stay. There were dirty dishes in the dish washer. The room was impossibly hot and the ventilation was poor. We opened the windows but with the curtains closed there was no air movement. We opened the curtains but the lights from outside made sleeping even less possible. Would not recommend staying here.

Nice place to stay
Overall this was a very nice stay. Tub/shower was dated and spout was loose. Very pleased to have a full kitchen which had plates, cooking utensils, pots pans. There was a dishwasher, electric stove. Coffee pot with filters and coffee was provided. Great coffee by the way! Bed was comfortable. Box fan provided to put in balcony door or bedroom window which is a plus since this hotel does not offer ac. We would stay again.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for a weekend getaway. The resort was lovely. We liked that you couldn't hear the people around you. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There is a shuttle stop right outside which was very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful. We felt safe at night. Would definitely recommend.
