A great hotel to stay at for manchester airport departures and very close to the train station so need for getting a taxi to and from the hotel and the airport. Ideal. Will definitely stay here again

We found that the staff at the front desk was great, but the staff at the bar was not attentive. Lots of staff moving around and not serving customers in a timely manner. Also , no one seemed to smile and be hospitable. The bar tender seemed very inexperienced.

Very much room for improvement. This hotel does not have a luggage room. For an airport hotel not good. The hotel does not have a heating in the bathroom. It was super cold. There is no place in the bathroom to put anything. Simply no space for nothing. The toilet was not clean, the walls in the bathroom were not clean. The restaurant has a lot of staff but they are not well enough trained. It took me three reminders and more than 15 minutes waiting time for a beer. This is just bad. The breakfast buffet is build up in a way that I bumped my head at a shelve that is above the buffet. When I told one of the staff members he said "it happened to me as well". How is it possible that then things have not changed? There is neither a shuttle service to the airport nor any carts that one could use when having lots of luggage. I had to call a taxi for 800 meters distance and paid 13 pounds. Those are the downsides. Now the upsides: the manager of the restaurant listen to my critics and the manager of the breakfast shift as well. They seem to want to change things. The quality of the food was outstanding, best ingredients without any doubt. Thanks for that. Honestly speaking this hotel gives you from A to Z the impression that it has been designed by an architect who has never used a hotel. Beautiful but not practical. And the staff has to suffer because of this. Bottom line: I hope that they are better organized when I come back and I will give them another chance.

Close to the airport and very quiet considering. Very small rooms a little shabby in that the large mirror needed a good clean. But the bed was super comfortable and the TV was easy to figure out.
