The hotel is appart from the main streets and the boulevard, and the area is not good looking. Frankly, we choose not to go out at night, of fear what could happen to us.
The staff is not very prepared, but they're friendly and want to serve.
The rooms (at least the suite) was very expensive, considering that is only a 3 stars hotel. Not only that, but they wanted us to pay in cash, even if the reservation didn't mention that, and they use a really abusive exchange rate.
Rio Hotels Mancora should be considered as a backpacking hotel, I think it would be more useful to get an idea of what it is like.
The room was nice and clean, when we received it, but they didn't clean it during the two days we use it. When we tried to use the jacuzzi, we found it hadn't been clean in a long time.
The parking lot is not very big, so only a few cars can be parked there.
