Poor experience: Wait time during check in
We arrived at the property at around 4pm expecting that our room is supposed to be ready because the check in time is usually 2pm. When my wife started to checked in she was told that the room is already available and when I got up to the lobby from the parking she has been waiting for several minutes already. I asked the front desk on the status of our room and she said that the room is not ready yet. I wasn't happy with this kind of service. We are expected to check out the next day by 12pm or earlier but our room wasn't ready when we are expecting it to be ready. Need to fix this service please.

Impressive Display of Filipino Culture
It’s mostly what I would expect from a Somerset property, as I always try to stay at Somerset in SE Asia. I would prefer a Balcony to make the place perfect, but at least the one bedroom suite had a window (in the bedroom), that opened enough to allow outside air in; this is essential to me. The staff was great, especially housekeeping. Breakfast was ok, but would vastly prefer real fruit juice over sugary powder mix juice. Also rooms should have real coffee, not just instant coffee, a pet peeve of mine in most SE Asia hotels. The Christmas tree lighting event was amazing; I was very impressed with the complimentary Puto Bumbong and Bibinka, and hot chocolate being served. Amazing way to display Filipino’s love for Christmas and the foods that go with it. Excellent work Somerset Central Salcedo Makati !!

Super nice/beautiful room, smelled like mold.
Room was nicest I've ever stayed only problem was it smelled of mold. First night they tried different room, same issue. Second night the put an air purifier in the room while we were out for dinner. Made an improvement. If not for the smell they'd get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 10/10. Just happy they tried to address with different rooms, air freshener, and air purifier.

The Hotel rooms are nice, but the front desk did not allow early check in even though the room was empty she asked double pay and from 8 AM 1/2 pay anyway I did not need that as I had to go to work, but after long flight it might be nice to consider if room is vacant and I paid for 3 night to allow early check in, the breakfast is not good made me leave the hotel and get into another one

The entire staff at Somerset has gone above and beyond from prior to arrival and check-in until the very last moment we checked out. Security team was amazing, ensuring my family always felt welcomed and protected. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite which was large enough to accommodate 6 adults. Rooms and bathrooms were stocked with amenities. Housekeeping made sure we always had what we needed. And lastly, breakfast at Nonya was a lifesaver as I have 2 teenaged sons. Good food selection for breakfast and one that infuses the Filipino culture. It’s not your ordinary Continental breakfast. We will be back again for sure!
