Three nights in the Jura
The hotel is looking tired and in need of some care. It is positioned on a busy road which is particularly noisy from 6.00am onwards and again in the evening. We booked in for 3 nights and were given a room closest to the road ! This does not encourage us to rebook. The restaurant staff were very good and managed to create a good atmosphere. They also showed some interest in the clients. Our first two meals were very enjoyable (one-of the trout specialities) but unfortunately we were served tough duck for the third 😕. The locality is good for walking.
Did an overnight stop here on the way to Italy. Hotel situated at the side of the road to Geneva beside a stream. Family room for four was absolutely massive and was very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities supplied. Decor a bit dated but typical of the area. Very good evening meal, one of us chose the trout from the adjacent stream and it was lovely, breakfast also good but it is a pity that so many French hotels now choose to use self-service coffee machines instead of making it the old way. Internet a bit slow. Parking available beside hotel. A nice, quiet and isolated stopover, infrequent traffic on main road.
Pleasant stay and good location for touring the area. Evening meals enjoyable and professionally served. Breakfast good but disappointed to only have one fruit juice available on three mornings, otherwise good selection of food but cereal does require cold milk which was not available one morning. Easy parking and St Laurent and Champagnole easy to reach, car essential, plus other places of interest if not a walker.
This was the second time we stayed. Service and food was very nice and room was a very good standard for the price. The outside garden area could be very nice but it needs much maintenance to be brought back to what it once was. The plastic lounge garden chairs were both broken and need to be replaced. The landscaping was a mess and needs much attention to trim it and clean it up. Could be a super property of they invested a little and maintained the garden and outside area.
Excellent staff, lovely rooms and outstanding restaurant. Only problem was the very noisy road the hotel is situated on.

Ok hotel for a stopover - lovely food.
The hotel looked a little jaded from the outside, inside was ok. Wifi access is key for us so it was annoying to be told by the receptionist that it was 'broken' when we arrived - with apparently no prospect of it being fixed that evening. We were therefore a little stressed and feeling unimpressed when we came down to dinner. However, the food was delicious and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Breakfast was substantial.

Wonderful position overlooking fast flowing river
Apart from the lovely position, with an outdoor dining terrace over the river, the hotel itself was rather a disappointment. The room was very small. We paid for an upgrade on the river side away from the roadside but traffic noise was still considerable. The bedroom was had cobwebs and dust, though the bedding and the bathroom were clean. Breakfast was the highlight as was the chef's fondue on our last night.
Overall this is a tired hotel.
Very kind staff was helpful in accommodating us when it became apparent that we'd be arriving really late at night, leaving a key where we could find it and directions on what to do when we arrived (they even offered to leave us food so we'd have something to eat when we arrived, which I thought was particularly nice and something my grandmother would have done, but not something I'd expect from a hotel). The location was stunning overlooking a large mountain stream. We will certainly be back; hopefully next time we can stay for a couple of nights, have dinner there and really enjoy it.
Restaurant parfait nous avons tres bien mangé. La chambre nickel avec balcon. Le seul probleme balcon commun avec la chambre d'à côté, nous avions notre chien et la séparation etait cassée.
Tres positif lacceptation des chiens.
