Awesome staff: Andre, Ibrah, Nancy, Jamila and Eladj were wonderful! Anytime I needed anything from a bottle of water to directions, actually walking with me to an ATM or to the market, or getting breakfast or lunch ready, there was always somebody on hand coming to help with anything I needed. The atmosphere is very much like being at home, didn’t feel like a hotel. The Riad is inside the Medina but only minutes walk to getting to the main road. I was pleasantly surprised by how well lit the alleys were inside the Medina, at least the pathsI took. I felt very safe. Also pleasantly surprised by how many people were out at midnight just sitting in the plaza close by. Women talking, children playing, small restaurants and shops open till very late for dinner, fresh made juice or pastries. Plaza is close enough to walk to, in just 5 min, yet far enough that the Riad was very peaceful. I loved having breakfast (included w price) out on the Riad’s terrace, cool in the morning and hearing just the rustle of the leaves. They serve typical morrocan breakfast which I absolutely loved!! I’m definitely glad I chose to stay in a Riad, I got a completely different experience than being in a regular hotel. Walking distance to the souk, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia palace. Based on other comments I asked for the taxi arrangements, 15€ and it was well worth it not having to haggle for a taxi fare! Also close to Alhambra spa which offers the traditional Hammam baths, an absolute must!
