The resort is a perfect option for staying in Samoa. However make sure you get a rental car, and spring for one of the nicer rooms as the Hotel rooms were missing basic things like a small table and chairs and ours was missing the backboard for the main bed.
The free breakfast for all guests is a nice touch, however the scrambled eggs were watery and bland and looked like they had been done in the microwave, and the fruit at times looked unappealing. However there was plenty more like Chia seed puddings which were delish, toast, cereal etc to pick from. And there was Gluten Free toast options. But all other food we ordered was very good!
The facilities at the resort were pretty good, you can hire snorkelling/water sport gear, hire cars for the day, go on tours provided by the resort or make use of the gym, spa or the pool with the swim up bar! The restaurants were nice, the drinks were strong and everything was well priced. Even though the resort was pretty full, we never once felt crowded. The beach it is located on is also very nice.
The owners are great and such lovely people. However, some of the other staff could do with working on their hospitality skills and friendly behaviour while at work. This was minor issue as most staff were lovely.
Overall, we had a pleasant time at the resort, yes there were some issues but these were minor in terms of our experience. There were more positives than negatives. Would stay again!
