A lovely mountain escape. Very close to highway 5. Very quiet. Surrounded by the pine trees. We only stayed one night and didn't get a chance to walk around. I am sure the walk is beautiful.

Wow! What a great place! Real fireplace with complimentary wood, in room hot tub, two recliners and comphy beds. Only drawback was couldn't figure out how to get NBC for Sunday Night football. Oh well, no problem, Great entertainment in the restaurant provided by singer, songwriter John ?? Plays a good guitar and harp. Food was excellent... Fried zucchini app. Prime rib and Halibut and complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay there again,

An unexpected find - a mountain lodge just off I-5! We were only there for a short overnight but I would have loved to stay longer. We had a standard room and the price was comparable to chain hotels in town, however we had a jacuzzi tub in the room and a large porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the view of the lawn and trees. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious; it was a true continental breakfast (very little protein choices) but everything was fresh and a good variety. There were commercially packaged pastries and their own, which I recommend. The outdoor patio is a beautiful option in nice weather. Even sitting inside, there is a nice view. There is a large game room with a pool table, games and puzzles. They also have event spaces. This is not a luxury resort, it's more of a log cabin feel. My only negative would be the worn/stained carpet in one section.

The rooms smelled like stale smoke, and the rugs were dirty. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The service was great and the food was pretty good.

Located at the exit of Mt Ashland 10 miles from town. Rooms are comfortable and a long cabin design. The have a great patio, wish they offered a full breakfast menu. Customer service felt a bit off, nothing bad, just off.

Our stay was uneventful but ok. The room was huge & the jetted tub was good. The wood burning fireplace was an unusual but pleasant touch. The room, despite having updated flooring, is still rather dated. The walls & the ceiling are yellow & look old. They had a nice continental breakfast.

Old run down building in a crappy part of town. Homeless sitting near the entryway and seen in the building. My room smelled like a used ashtray, which was at the end of a dark hallway. The room next to mine was missing door handle. It felt undafe and dirty.

My wife and I have been going to calahans for yrs.we very much enjoy the fireplace, jetted tub, and the scenery. This wkend was more of a horror story. The room wasn't very clean, the staff at the front desk on the first night talked down to us like we were kids.very bad service, n even the tv.didnt work.she was very rude.Not professional at all.. The second night was more friendly and we felt very much more relaxed. No more stess. In all becouse of the service we was delt with the 1st night.We will not be returning to this home away from home. We will miss.

The room and property were amazing! The elevator is a tad sketchy but the staff was wonderful and we loved our stay. My car had a flat the following morning from a nail and they aired my tire enough to get me to town so I could get it patched. 10/10!!
