Evening staff seem to be a bit less friendly. Probably tired. Bathroom might need a bit more shampoo bath gel than one small travel size bottle. Other than that - the hotel is a good option to stay in Melbourne.

Property is a little dated but perfectly suitable for all our needs. The service we received here was better than what you would get at a top quality hotel. Staff were so helpful - the cleaners even washed our breakfast dishes.

Went with a four year old for a little get away . First thing we loved was the view from our room. I didn’t realise it has a balcony so that was such a nice surprise. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and I loved this . We loved the pool but I wish it was kept a bit warmer. We were the only ones brave enough most of the time to go in. But for kids it’s a bit cold. Loved the facility’s in room I brought our own food etc and walking distance to the aquarium. Cannot stress how much the view was amazing for my little one , from helicopters and boats to crown flames was really awesome . Only two things I would do different on our next stay - organise cheaper parking next door which is half the price , bring ear buds for the trains and teams in the morning. Would stay again it was really great

Although the property is a little older it is still in great shape and comfortable. Most of the rooms have great views over the river. The restaurant / bar is large and the menu covers most appetites. There are free trams just outside for getting around the downtown area. There is plenty to see within walking distance.
