I had been travelling around Argentina for several weeks and decided to treat myself to a hotel for a couple of nights.
I wish I hadn't.
The staff spoke no english, the room had no windows, when I went to the bathroom you have to sit with your feet in the shower, you can sometimes smell cigarettes being smoked presumably on the roof. And the industrial laundry machines run ALL night and I could hear them from my room.
It wasn't incredibly expensive, however it was a lot more money than this hotel deserved. I've stayed at cleaner accommodations at hostels for a fraction of the price.
The breakfast was pretty good, but extremely high carb and sugar (cakes and pastries).
The great thing about this hotel is the location, its close to everything and you can walk anywhere you want. The area seemed safe at night with a lot of restaurants and bars close by.
