Superb Sicilian place to stay in the middle of nowhere - but close to everything!
We did not have a problem finding it, but did our homework before we went - and had a printout from google maps with us, as sat navs do struggle to find it.
We stayed in the duplex for three nights which was perfect for our family - two day beds and shower room downstairs and a double bed with wardrobe on a mezzanine upstairs. Very spacious and impeccably clean, however the shower itself was extremely small but not unusual for Sicily apparently.
Wifi was available in the guest lounge but not the bedrooms. Breakfast was traditional Sicilian cakes, bread, fruit, cheese and meats, with local honey and jams. Fresh, wonderful and plenty of it. We did eat in the restaurant during our stay, again enjoying traditional Sicilian dishes and wine produced by the vineyard - no pizzas on the menu which was good to encourage youngsters to try other dishes!
The owners were very welcoming and kind and gave our family a tour of the vineyard which was wonderful education experience for our teenage girls.
The swimming pool area was lovely but unfortunately we did not have warm enough weather to try it out.
I think the bedroom would have benefited from tea and coffee making facilities - other than that a very lovely place, a little pricey, but a real treat.
