Kiel, 150 kilometres to the southwest, and Schwerin, situated 160 kilometres to the south, are two excellent cities that are within a few hours' drive of Mern.

Sitting 95 kilometres to the south, Warnemunde Beach is a terrific spot to spend a bit of time enjoy the coastal sights and smells. Bellevue Beach also offers visitors some lovely views. You'll find this enticing shoreline 85 kilometres to the south.

You'll find a number of inviting natural attractions just outside of Mern. Why not make your way 30 kilometres to Cliffs of Mon? Alternatively, enjoy some of nature's finest artwork at Nyord, 10 kilometres away.

Take time to discover the picturesque landscapes of Kulsbjerg. It's a marvellous place to spend a clear day.
