Staff were very helpful for accommodating our large dining party in the restaurant. We will be back again. Breakfast was super and again staff very attentive to our needs. Only negative was the mattress was hard compared to what we like.

We enjoyed a three night stay at the Duke William Hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, we opted to eat here each evening after experiencing how good the breakfast was! A nice outdoor beer garden. In walking distance to the castle and cathedral. Would highly recommend!

My one concern was the pictures on the room advertisement were incorrect in relation to the room we actually had The impression we both received was that it would be in kind of suite.

Great weekend stay
Great stay, lovely room and bathroom. Nice little touches like fresh handmade cookies in the room, breakfast and dinner were lovely. You do have to pre-order breakfast by 9pm the previous night though. Quiet location, small car park for hotel guests only. Short walk to cathederal and castle, perfect for a weekend break.

A lovely room and bathroom, large comfortable bed and good breakfast (although eggs a bit overdone). Friendly staff and convenient for local attractions. Only downside was lack of parking. There is a patrons’ car park behind the hotel, but it was full with pub/restaurant customers’ cars. We ended up paying to park in a separate car park off site. This wouldn’t stop us from staying again though.

This is a creaky old pub and hotel, but well maintained and really fun. You feel as if you’ve entered the past. We’d be happy to stay there again.

The Duke William is a great place to stay in Lincoln. It has plenty of charm, good staff and great food. The pub is a friendly place to hang out. Although the noise from the beer garden does travel up to the rooms, it stops at 10:30-11:00pm. The only negative for us on our stay was the lack of water pressure in the shower. I assume it's because it's an old building, but it's needs sorting if possible.

Having stayed at this hotel maybe around 25 times we are never disappointed, exceptional customer service , great food and another relaxing stay , one of the only hotels to other very secure private FREE parking , see you very soon
