Great instructions before we arrived. Nice warm welcome. It’s a bargain lodging establishment and as such was what we expected. The location is fantastic to be in the center of everything yet on a protected quieter street. It’s close to the metro close to walking areas and great restaurants close by. Location is fantastic to be in the center of everything yet on a protected quieter street. It’s close to the metro close to walking areas and great restaurants close by. Rosario and David couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast is adequate but doesn’t meet our expectations for Mexican breakfast but there’s lots nearby this very reasonable.
Fabulous location in historical centre & near metro line. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfasts excellent. Bed comfortable, room & bathroom clean. Noisy if you face street especially on weekends when there is lots of music. Ask for a fan as there is no AC.

Chill out flat not a flat
Okay for a night but if booking longer make sure to get room with seating otherwise no where to put luggage and bed fills room. Central location and breakfast great. Staff Andrea has no people skills and not reliable.
Great place with very friendly staff fluent in English. Excellent breakfast!

Great location but small room
The owners are very nice, our flight was delayed but they waited for us patiently. The door lock to our room broke on the 2nd night, the owner tried their best to open the door for us. It was Sunday night after 10 pm and they spent hours helping us open the door. On the down side, the room was tiny, the bed was small and not comfortable. Otherwise it wouldn't have been great because the location is perfect and breakfast is great too.

Good for the price
Chilly rooms and no hot water but close to many attractions with a good breakfast, so for the price no complaints! Staff was very friendly.
This B&B is located in a great spot for checking out Mexico City.. it's around the corner from Bellas Artes, is super close to the pedestrian street which has all kinds of shops and places to eat, and is a quick walk to the Zocalo. The room was comfy and the staff was nice. During breakfast you could talk to the other travelers staying there, which was nice. I'd recommend it.
Outstanding location in the centre of the Historical District, good breakfast every day with congenial company (the other residents), good rates and excellent comfort.
Lovely people and great value. Not luxurious but you meet great people and it’s a bargain. Breakfast is awesome and they couldn’t be nicer. Room was fine, small and utilitarian, but clean and pleasant enough.

Never again
Disrespectful staff
Strange man in our apartment late at night with no warning
We were told not to eat, drink, or sit in the common space
Staff aggressive rather than friendly
Hotel staff in and out of the apartment more than ten times each day over the course of several hours
We stayed here for 6 nights with our daughter and her boyfriend. We arrived after midnight and were greeted by Andrea who immediately offered us tea and showed us to our room which was beautifuly colorful and clean. We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning of fruit, juice, tea or coffee, yogurt, bread and a traditional hot meal. Location is great, around the corner from the train and just blocks away from many restaurants and tourist attractions. The day we left, Andrea was amazingly kind enough to let us keep our luggage there and have access to our room all day! This was our home away from home!!
This bnb is located walking distance to all the main sites in city central and around the corner from train and surrounded by great restaurants. Each morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, and a hot traditional breakfast that was delicious. Room was beautifully painted and spotless, we totally felt like we were at home. Andrea was super accommodating, always asking if we needed touring suggestions and was kind enough to let us keep our luggage at our bnb all day the day we're were leaving because we had a midnight flight out. I will definitely be recommending Chillout to my friends traveling to Mexico City!!
For reasons outside my control (thanks British Airways) I was unable to complete my stay at the Chillout B&B. However, the communication from Rosario was absolutely superb.
I've rated this property as 5 star throughout although cannot really comment on anything other than the service.

great location avarage stay
I stayed 8 nights in this hotel. I used metro from the airport to arrive this area. It cost 25 cents. And when I go back I used metro and it cost 1,50 dollars. The location is the hearth of the old city. As I said before it is very eay to get anywhere with public transport. There are also so many good restaurants, pubs, cafes and museums around.
This b&b is more convinient for stuents or solo travellers. It is much more like hostels. I dont reccomend this hotel for families.

Close to everything
Room was noisy from traffic hard to sleep good breakfast hot water extremely difficult to adjust in shower- either boiling or freezing. Bed comfy & big. Sometimes no one was at the door down stairs to let you in. Good shared kitchen.
I loved staying here. The location couldn't be better. The price is excellent with breakfast and wifi included. Andrea and Rosario are friendly , nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay here again !
Wonderful location, beautiful room and friendly people. The location was great-we could easily walk or take the metro to anywhere we wanted to go. We read previous reviews about the noise so we brought earplugs Andy slept fine.

Spacious, basic, mold everywhere, cold dinghy
I am surprised so many people rated this place so highly as though cheap and spacious with good beds it is so funky and there is mold everywhere in the bathrooms. The owner is very nice and welcoming on the plus, breakfast was fairly good but no one asked if I lie hard scrambled eggs before serving them to me. The decor could be bright and cheery as the colors are pleasing but it was dark and cold in the room. A four room flat with one tiny heater so I had to sit with my jacket on the entire time. We are an older couple used to more upscale places so maybe for younger budget conscious travelers this is just the place. The location is great!
Accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the Om suite is quite spacious. Rosario and staff are lovely people, friendly and helpful. The king size bed is firm and comfortable, the shower is excellent, and the kitchen appeared to be well equipped. Communication with staff is excellent--if you need anything just ask. Rosario arranged for taxis when we needed them and could not have been more gracious. Highly recommend.
Midway between Zocalo and Palacio de Bellas Artes, we were only a few blocks from the most important sites, silver merchants, and tourist buses.
The staff was very helpful, the bed was big and comfortable, the room clean, the breakfast excellent.
We highly recommend this B&B.
Location is great and I love the fact that the B&B is part of a residential block. Room is large with plenty of space n excellent wifi.
Small downside is the breakfast is simple with only bread, fruit n yoghurt. And short timing between 830-930 only. But there is an excellent bakery just to the left of building.
