My stay at CATHEDRAL HOTEL overall was very nice. Walking distance to a lot of sight seeing areas. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Comfortable beds. The Pirámide tower was quiet with great views. Had to move to the Cathedral tower for one extra unplanned night. The room was very clean, comfortable beds. The Television turned on but you couldn’t watch anything, zero reception for local or cable programming. My room was at the end of the hallway and it was very noisy. Not because of the busy street and traffic outside. But from doors slamming shut down the hallway especially in the morning by the cleaning ladies. But overall it was a very nice stay. I will highly recommend it.

What a cool hotel, especially the excavated ruins below the hotel featured from the first floor promenade. From my perch in the very nice lounge off the promenade I had morning coffee admiring this historic setting. The coffee is good and it and water bottles are gratis to hotel guests. One caution though is that if you have a balcony room on the front side of the hotel, noise can be an issue. But we travel with a large bluetooth speaker so no problem for us.

This is a nice hotel. Clean and modern rooms, the ones I stayed in. And the staff was nice and helpful. Good ambiance being there. Message to the owner/manager. I don't really understand why you don't just make the terrace a quiet terrace. I read the comments on this (expedia) before booking there, and reading the negative comments most were about noise. In Mexico City that almost always means the hotel is near a bar or soambiencemething that is noisy, but your hotel has no noisy neighbors. It could be a perfect quiet hotel, but the terrace of your hotel plays music really loudly (so that in some rooms you can hear every word of the mustic they play), which makes a lot of the hotel rooms too noisy. But if you just made a rule where the terrace only used little speakers (like 5 inch cafe speakers) I would stay there every time without even looking at other hotels because it would just be a nice, clean, quiet hotel, which is perfect for my type of hotel customer. I'll still most likely stay at your hotel again later, but I know I'll have to find a non noisy room (a room not close to the terrace). Thanks for the hospitality, to the staff
