Well located modern style hotel convenient for La Condesa and Roma districts. Comfortable room and bed. We had no noise issues unlike other reviews. It was pretty chilly eating breakfast in the rooftop restaurant (in December/January) - ask for the patio heaters to be turned on.

The hotel is located in Condesa where you can walk to various restaurants and cafes easily. The area is very safe to walk around. The staff members were very friendly and helpful! What I had the most problem was the pungent odor from the toilet.

Todo el hotel OK, elegimos Mondrian por ser de calidad pero nos quedó a deber… nuestro baño se inundó y apestaba a alcantarilla, hablamos para quejarnos pero eran casi las 12 de la noche, estábamos cansados y nos dormimos, sin embargo en la mañana nos despertó el olor y nos salimos antes de lo que hubiéramos querido, me pesa mucho porque no es un hotel barato y fue una escapada de un día. Definitivamente nos afectó totalmente la experiencia de nuestro viaje

We stayed for four nights at the Mondrian. We found the staff friendly and happy to help. The buffet breakfast included was good, but it is the same every day so if you want variety you will be disappointed. The Rooftop Sky Lounge was not open the entire time we were there, which was disappointing as it was a selling feature for us. The rooms are tight but well appointed and the beds comfortable. There was street noise and you could hear people moving in the hall, etc. Something to be mindful of if you are super sensitive to noises. The bathroom was a stall toilet and shower and open sink. I personally prefer a proper door so this was also disappointing for me.

The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are a reasonably high quality but the service is incredibly patchy here. We booked a Skyline View room but had no view. Just a wall and the interior courtyard. We asked reception and we were told this was not a description of the room just a classification. The Mondrian website describes this type of room as ‘having unforgettable views of the Mexico City skyline’. When we showed this to the man on the check-in desk, he became incredibly rude and combative. Eventually, we were introduced to the Guest Experience Manager Jany/Honey, who was incredibly helpful. Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. She was amazing. The rest of the staff and service left a lot to be desired. The breakfast is pretty terrible. Don’t book a skyline view and if Jany/Honey isn’t working then avoid.
