I stayed for two nights and this was the perfect spot in South Beach - the staff was lovely, it was super clean, great patio with lots of seating options, and excellent location walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. Would love to stay again the next time I come to Miami!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. When we arrived, we were placed in a room on the 4th floor, despite the fact that the hotel has no functioning elevator (based on prior reviews, it seems the elevator has been out for several months). More importantly, this property has BED BUGS. We had to check out roughly 6 hours after checking in the same day, and both this property and Expedia is refusing to provide us with a refund.

Hotel looks nothing like the pictures online.
The hotel staff was rude and did not accommodate us at all. After we learned how the hotel really looked we were upset. The hotel was dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there. They refused a refund and we went to another hotel. These photos are what the room looked like when we walked in.

We travelled with 2 teenagers, mother in law and young adults. The location to the beach, local restaurants and stores was wonderful. We could walk everywhere! Staff was so professional and friendly! Always helpful and very efficient. The pool are was vibrant with all age groups and a wonderful festive atmosphere! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would love to come back ! Loved the set up of the room, my only complaint was there was a weird smell in the room that lingered my entire stay. Other than that, I will definitely be staying at this property again on my next vacay to Miami. Great/safe location and 2 minute walk to the beach.

The sonder was aweome i had an issue with checking in and they were able to give me a late checkout for free. Sonder is close to southbeach and so many places to eat and drink. Would def use this location again

Sonder was an okay/average stay. The staff tends to be very short tempered, and the facility is okay on a cleanliness scale. You would stay here simply for the value and how close it is to the beach. You are a few streets over from Ocean Dr and there are so many little bodega groceries, bakeries, and restaurants very close by that you can walk just about anywhere. We got coffee and pastries every morning at a bakery across from the hotel and walked to the beach. The property runs by their own app, which by all accounts is very convenient. You can use the app as a mobile key to open your room, but ours did not work and the front desk did not have a solution, so we had to manually type in the code into the lock each time to enter the hallway and the room - not a big deal but defeated the purpose. The walls tend to be a bit thin so you can hear everyone around you. You're next to a police station so often lots of sirens and noise which is to be expected for the area. I would like to emphasize we did not have a bad stay, just highlighting some parts for the next person to be mindful of. If you're looking for a short stay with high value for proximity to the beach, Sonder is a good deal. But if you're a person who values amenities, cleanliness, or quiet - you might try something a little higher priced for the overall experience.
