Hotels in Middle Quarters

There's only 1 hotel within 10 kilometres of the centre of Middle Quarters, so you'll need to move faster than a kid hyped up on red cordial if you want somewhere to stay nearby.

Hopeless at making decisions? Take it easy. The Idlers' Rest Beach Hotel is the only choice if you've got your heart set on staying within walking distance of the downtown area.

If you're still looking for accommodation and none look up to the job, you could investigate the Sandals South Coast All Inclusive or the Jake's. The first is 16 kilometres away, while the second is 25 kilometres away. Alternatively, venture 25 kilometres from central Middle Quarters to the Treasure Beach Hotel.

High heels or flip-flops? However you prefer to roll, you'll sure to love a trip to Bluefields, 19 kilometres away. With Carmel Moravian Church and Peter Tosh House to check out, you're not gonna be short on things to do. Bluefields hotels are the Luna Sea Inn and Bluefields on the Bay. 25 kilometres to the south of Middle Quarters you'll also find Treasure Beach, which is home to the Calabash Bay Four Bedroom Villa and Hope House. If you stay in Treasure Beach, set aside a little time to check out Billy Bay Beach and Calabash Bay.

Ocho Rios is located 85 kilometres from Middle Quarters and has a population of 9,000. When you're there, you'd be mad if you didn't have a look at the Harmony Hall Art Gallery, Mahogany Beach and the Reggae Xplosion Museum. Prospect Plantation and White River Reggae Park are a few more which are sure to offer up some photo ops. The Sandals Royal Plantation All Inclusive and Hermosa Cove Villa Resort and Suites are a couple of places to stay in Ocho Rios.

Ever had to spend a night on the airport floor cos you got too excited and didn't book your hotel? Save yourself a backache and snap up a room at the Sandals Montego Bay - All Inclusive or the Sandals Inn All Inclusive. We stayed at Treasure Cot at Jake’s with our 1.5 year old for 2 weeks in November and had an amazing time. The house is old and rustic but that’s part of the charm. Right on the beach and a short stroll down the local road from the main Jake’s property. Our house team (Tracy and Oshane) were so lovely and welcoming to our family in every way. Tracy prepared 3 wonderful local meals everyday for us - making modifications for our toddler where relevant. They were happy to chat and entertain visits from our toddler throughout the day. We also had a nanny arranged through Jake’s, Carlene, who was an absolute delight. We’ve been home for a few weeks and our little one is still talking about her “Carly”. At Jake’s itself, we enjoyed the spa on a few occasions and loved the cocktails at the bar. A terrific trip - we local forward to returning in years to come.
