Book Middle River hotels

The house was wonderful for a family stay, and the middle of island location was perfect for exploring all the sights over 3 days. The owner was excellent to communicate with and sent a great overview of things to do as well. A real highlight is being walking distance from the fantastic Fig Tree restaurant. We loved our visit and would highly recommend KI and staying at middle river vista

Sheoaks is an absolutely stunning property in a breath-taking part of Kangaroo Island. It had more than everything we needed and so many lovely spots to relax and enjoy that incredible view. Snelling Beach is maybe a 5 minute walk away and was our favourite beach of the island and The Fig Tree is also about a 5 minute walk and was a really special lunch experience. We saw loads of kangies - including two boys fighting just down the hill and a red tailed black cockatoo, along with other cute birdies.We got locked out of the laundry at one point... which was not a big deal at all but when we contacted the host, they had their maintenance people over within 30 minutes to open it for us! Very impressed and can't wait to come back (:

We stayed for 3 nights and had the whole property to ourselves. We did day trips out but were always keen to come back to enjoy the view and the peace! The house had everything you could ask for (except for ceiling fan or pedestal fans in the bedrooms) but overall we are looking forward to booking this place again for longer and maybe in the cooler months. Communication and directions were great and easy to follow.

Wander was probably the most relaxing amazing experience we have enjoyed for a long time. Everything was just perfect, and the view incredible. We are definitely returning
