Located in the Whitsundays, Duende is a secluded nest from the busy Airlie Beach area. It will surprise you with a simple but confortable accommodation blending with a unique cultural art experience.
The art studio on the property features a wide range of visual arts display:

The space
Our 2 eco retreat pods are 2 metres above ground, for you to fully envoy the magnificent Whitsundays view of repulse Bay. Each pods are 30 square meter with a deck.

The pods offers minimalist but comfortable accommodation with a king size bed facing a floor-to-ceiling windows for a full view of the ocean and are both equipped with air conditioning.

Each pod is carefully built to offer you a serene visit, surrounded by lush nature and breathtaking Elevated view. Only 2 pods are on the property to ensure the exclusivity and intimacy of your holidays. Both pods have private facilities space with shower, amenities and bar/kitchen corner.

The deck is open to both pods.

We emphasis on offering quiet seclusion.

Unfortunately Duende doesn’t cater to family, children nor pets at this stage.

We booked El Duende for one night, we loved it so much that we cancelled another booking and came back for another two nights. Agnes is a great host. The views are spectacular, beautiful accommodation. We hope to come back soon!!!
