Very nice hotel with beautiful architecture. It is in a great location with restaurants nearby and views of state buildings at night a must. Request rooms with views on that side. Staff is very friendly and rooms are spacious . The only negative is that the club floor is not really worth paying extra for as breakfast is mediocre and afternoon appetizers are mediocre as well. Also no wine and beer included so have to pay extra. Overall the best hotel in providence.

While checking in I mentioned traveling with a Toddler and if there was a way to get a room that was a bit more spacious. When we walked into room 901 and saw the view we were extremely happy with your hotel. I will definitely come back to this hotel. The furniture, bedding, marble flooring, and chandeliers were beautiful. But, all of that didn’t matter when I ordered room service and received paper to-go containers with plastic spoons. The food delivery did not match the hotel’s ambiance. Internet, where to begin besides thank god for my hotspot. You want us to pay extra for data? When you pay a set price for unlimited data from Comcast. You’re ripping people off. Especially, when our toddler was in the middle of watching his learning videos. Overall a solid B. You will forever stay a 4 star hotel with food served in paper containers and asking people to pay more when 1GB is used. Thanks.

Ultimately Expedia sold me a room that was not available. The staff was nice, but we had a king room with 1 female adult and 2 teenage boys attending brown for a football camp. It was uncomfortable and unfortunately we only received a free meal and proper room for the 2nd night. Thankfully there was a cot, but we were disappointed that we did not get what we paid for especially arriving late at night exhausted,

Customer service at the reception was not very friendly/welcoming. My room in the 3rd floor, next to the elevators had a terrible smell and was located next to a “service room” I suppose, as the door was slammed multiple times during the day and early evening. Waitresses at the Public restaurant were very nice, professional, and helpful.
