Saint Kates is on the pricy end, but if you are okay with that, they are a very nice hotel. Well, within walking distance of downtown, the bar district, historic areas, and the riverwalk.
Their on site bar made really good mixed drinks, and (although we did not eat there), they have a high end restaurant on the second floor. There is also a pizza place next door.
Rooms are arty, and there is a record player in every room (which was a unique touch.) Beds are comfortable and they have good pillows. (That last one is important because crap pillows ruin an entire hotel stay.)
Bathroom had a good shower but small sink and vanity. Over all it hits for comfort and location. The only drawback is plan on spending at minimum 200 a night and likely a lot more once the fees and taxes are added in there.
Bottom line, if you are looking mid to high end, this is a good choice.
