Vintage and modern mixed wonderfully.
The hotel lobby is vintage and amazing with the restaurants and shops and even a small museum. The downtown night life is just a short walk to bars and restaurants. There are wonderful shops and boutiques nearby. staff were nice and explained how to get to our floor. Our suite was very spacious and modern with a vintage feel. The mattress was very firm. But we enjoyed our stay.

Need to have owners experience their renovations .
Room was clean and comfortable. Except for crickets.Tv was terrible cause couldn’t find out how to find channels. No ice machine anywhere except front desk. No information in room of things to do or where things were located in mineral Wells. The bathroom was nice but rods too high to reach to hang clothes up. Too expensive for what you experience!

Hotel is great, beautiful. Only issue was crickets in the room. We killed at least 12 crickets all over the hotel room. Would stay here again, but I’d request a higher level floor to try and avoid crickets.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at Crazy Water. There’s a reason we’ve been twice and will come back again. The first time was to celebrate my 64th birthday. I had driven through MW a couple of times, and loved the old Baker Hotel that is going through renovation. I was intrigued. I did a little research and found The Crazy Water hotel. We decided to give it a shot and could not have been more pleased! This is an outstanding place to spend a 2-4 day weekend with someone you love. This is our 12th anniversary and The Crazy Water was perfect. Quiet, good restaurant, charming shops and just downright relaxing. It’s only a couple of hours from DFW and easy to get to. I’m rooting for them ‘cause they’re working hard to get you to come see. I know we’ll be back! Check it out!

The rooftop view was AMAZING! We loved the ballroom and reception area upstairs. Very nice and classy. Great experience. Staff helpful and friendly. We woke up and had great affordable coffee. Ate breakfast in site at the restaurant. Even got to explore the little town and old buildings that were within walking distance. Highly recommend! We will definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely loved our stay at the Crazy Water Hotel. It is beautiful and a true gem in Mineral Wells. My only (slight) complaint is there is not a ramp to be able to bring the luggage cart to the car or roll luggage up, and if all the spaces near the door are taken, bringing in luggage can be quite cumbersome. I understand this is a historic building and not the fault of the ownership, I just want others to be aware. If there is a ramp available, we were not aware. The shops, dining, and coffee shops are wonderful, and the room we stayed in was quite beautiful. I will definitely stay again and pack lighter.

I liked this hotel and especially liked the staff who were extremely courteous. We received an upgrade to room 229, which is a king suite. The room had a gigantic conference area about 30 x 30‘ with a dining table and sitting area as well as a full kitchen. The sleeping room was attached and was decent enough, but there was no closet to hang clothing at least not full length clothing. The bed was comfortable. The temperature was pleasant. The bathroom was big with two sinks and plenty of countertop space. There was a bathtub. The shower was small and the water pressure weak.

Wonderful staff, stunning historic building and the room was beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and amenities were great. It was walking distance to many nice shops and restaurants. The resturant in the lobby was very nice.

We loved staying at The Crazy Water. The customer service was outstanding. The only downfall was not having a spot in the shower for your soap and shampoo/conditioner.

Beautifully renovated hotel from the 1800’s! Exceptional restaurant in hotel. The Second Kitchen! Hotel and area buildings around hotel are still a work in progress. Lots of construction excitement. Amazing what has been accomplished so far. Will definitely return!
