Hotel was clean, staff were polite, location was decent. We were able to walk from the twins stadium in decent time and didn’t feel unsafe. Only complaint was our bed wasn’t made- I was so excited to come home from a long day on the city to a nicely made hotel bed.

Walls are thin but theres a full size basketball court and nice gym available 24 hours. The pull out sofa bed is of cold war quality. The breakfast buffet should be complimentary. Walking distance to major venues, restaurants, cafes and Target.

Hotel was great, the neighborhood has turned to crap. People living in the apartments near by just stand on the corner and harass pedestrians at all hours of the day.

Wouldn’t stay again.
Upon arrival, while checking-in to our room, I asked the lady assisting us if she could help us figure out how to get to the concert we were going to that evening as we had never been downtown before. Unfortunately she was not willing to help us out and told us to just “google” it. Not a very friend first impression for a hotel that says they are always willing to help their guests! The room was fine with the bathroom being the nicest part of the room. We stayed for 3 nights and checkout was at 11 am. We were out later on our last evening so I told my family they could sleep until 10 and then we would get up and get ready so we could be out of the room for check-out time. Unfortunately, at 9am housekeeping came banging at our door waking us up. I ran to the door thinking something was wrong. When I answered the man said, “oh it’s checkout”. I replied, “I thought it was at 11 am”. He then said, “oh yes, right” and proceeded to knock on the next door. I have never been to a hotel that wakes up their guest before check-out time so that was disappointing! Overall, the hotel is nice, but between those few things and having to pay extra every day for parking, I’m not sure we would stay there again.

Very nice. Would stay again.
Overall a great stay, staff was great. I was in an interior pool facing room. The positive, it's very quiet and dark, if you like that to sleep. Downside, chlorine smell. Great amenities in hotel as well as around it. Easy access to US Bank Stadium and Target Field.

The Hyatt Regency is 2 blocks from Orchestra Hall and 4 to the heart of downtown. Located in a green space, it is a 15 minute walk to Loring Park, the Walker Art Center and Sculpture Garden and a 25 minute walk to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Perfect for my interests. There are different kinds of restaurants within blocks and there is a Target store that sells groceries within 5 blocks. As the city is very walkable, with minimal traffic, it was ideal for solo sightseeing. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I will, definitely, return to this hotel on my next trip to Minneapolis.
