Prime Rate Inn? More like Primate Inn with the number of questionable people that crash here. Employees were disgustingly rude. Deposit $ required for a non-smoking room was a joke?!? Found blood spatter on the back of our room door underneath the peep hole as well as a fake nail on the bedside table (clearly wasn’t cleaned at all). There’s a reason this “hotel” is cheap, you get what you pay for… Spent as much time out of this hole as possible. Also, the exit ramp off the interstate 35W was under construction so the drilling noises were EXCESSIVE and we had to detour an extra 10 minutes if we wanted to travel north. Hated every minute we spent here. Do yourself a favour and choose to pay more money for a comfortable hotel. The rest of our family stayed at the Baymont Hotel 10 mins down the road and we wish we could’ve transferred to one of their CLEAN rooms instead of this dark moist hole of a hotel.

this is a very nice property. the staff is always friendly. they have coffee and hot chocolate available all the time. i especially love the pool. the pool is always nice

its a lie when they advertise free breakfast. it should have said " snacks included" . free breakfast only consisted of pre packed sweets ( tiny muffins and small donut holes". Hot tub too chlorinated that it burns my eyes. pool too cold.

Staff was friendly. Chair in room was definitely wore down. Bathroom door had a hole. Property needs updating. One of the few hotels in MN thay still allows smoking rooms. Can smell tobacco in hallways, however non-smokimg room didnt smell of tobacco which was appreciated. More in a ghetto area. They required cash deposit which we were not aware of until check in.

It was great I really enjoyed my time there and it's day-to-day activities are quiet and I enjoyed the comfortable bed and being right next to a gas station is great I did not enjoy the road construction but the hotel can't help that

What saves this place is the cleanliness and that the beds were comfortable. The drawbacks were that it was a bit loud, it was completely dark in half the room (no lamps on that side) and no nightstand between the two beds. Also, the breakfast was Hostess Coffe Cake squares and some powdered donuts. But the cleanliness camnotbe overstated and it was good for one night.
